It is really hard to apportion stars to this thing, but my friend uses it and she said she sees lots of improvements in her skin which is gorgeous, so I jumped on the bandwagon. But then holy hell...what a freaky experience was my first try. My eyes are super sensitive to light, ie I can read in dark conditions, my eyesight is amazing both distance and close up, but I have to wear sunglasses a lot, even on cloudy days...bright light just really bothers me. So anyways, I tried this thing during Christmas holidays and I was exhausted just like all moms are exhausted during this time, and I fell asleep. The mask timed off at 20 minutes, but I woke up unable to see for about 10 minutes. I don't know what happened. I was wearing the eye guard that came with this but it wasn't enough apparently. Fortunately, my eyes went back to normal after 10-20 minutes, but whoa! Freaky experience. I bought some "black out goggles" and will try again and also make sure that I don't fall asleep next time too. I wonder if I was sound asleep for that short catnap but nonetheless I let more light in my eyes? Anyways, I just wanted to warn everyone. Be careful not to fall asleep and also might as well get some better goggles. It can't hurt.

I saw results from the first time I tried the mask. My husband was impressed the second and third time. My face seemed lighter and brighter and my skin felt softer. It is easy to use and I look forward to every application.

I got this for my better half, and after using it for a few weeks she swears that it has improved her skin health. I did some research before purchasing one of these and found that Newkey, had the most leds in the price range, and allowed for the color to be changed to treat different issues. I like that it is easy to use and she can set the timer and forget about it for 25-30 minutes. She mostly uses it on the blue and red light settings which she says prevent break outs and make her skin feel healthier. I am not a doctor or medical professional, but in my subjective opinion her skin does look healthier and she swears that it is so I am happy. My only complaint concerns the flashing or pulsing function. I can deal with a continuous soft glow, but when it starts flashing like a club, especially when the room is dark, I have to leave the room. While it may relax the wearer, the flashing is definitely a distraction/possible nuisance to everyone else (especially if you annoy easily).

Bought this mask in hope of reducing nasal swelling post rhinoplasty. I’m one year post op and still struggle with a lot of swelling, so i figured i would try red light therapy. I’ve been using it consistently every night for about one week and can already see more improvements in reduction of swelling than what I got with steroid shots. My only complaint is fastening the straps in the back of the head. EXTREMELY annoying. This product would be much better if it fastened using a simple slap and stick Velcro. Having to feed it through tiny slots just to put it on is ridiculous.
